Delayne Weeks brings over 25 years of expertise in economic development, finance, and community impact across South America, Africa, Asia, and North America. Since joining Angkor Resources shortly after its founding, Delayne has held key roles including VP of Social Development and Finance Coordinator before becoming CEO in 2022. Her leadership has transformed the company into a diversified, income-generating operation with assets in oil and minerals across two jurisdictions. Her pioneering work in Cambodia on ethical and collaborative mining practices has earned multiple recognitions from the United Nations for sustainability and social development. She holds a B.Ed. in Business Education from the University of Alberta and a Diploma in Horticulture from Olds College. A former associate professor of business at GPRC, she has built a successful career in the oil, real estate, and agriculture sectors.
